Care Beyond The Chair
Your transformation doesn’t end when your treatment does.
At Sculpt Skin Spa, we believe that effective results come from a combination of professional care and your mindful aftercare. Each treatment is carefully designed to initiate visible change, and how you care for your skin and body afterwards plays a vital role in the achievement of your transformation goals.
We provide tailored aftercare instructions specific to your service.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Personalised guidance to support your skin’s healing and optimise your results.
- Do’s and don’ts for the first 24–72 hours post-treatment to protect your skin barrier and ensure proper recovery.
- Product recommendations that complement your treatment plan — using science-backed formulas for continued improvement.
- Lifestyle tips to help you maintain your glow from the inside out — including hydration, nutrition, and sun protection.
We’re with you beyond the treatment room — because your transformation starts here, but it doesn’t stop here.
Microneedling
First 24–72 Hours:
- Avoid touching your face unnecessarily.
- Do not apply makeup or SPF for at least 24 hours.
- Expect mild redness, tightness, or sensitivity — similar to a light sunburn.
- Cleanse with a gentle, non-active cleanser and lukewarm water.
- Avoid exfoliants, retinol, AHAs/BHAs, or active serums for 5–7 days.
What to Do:
- Use only approved post-treatment serums (e.g. hyaluronic acid).
- Keep skin hydrated and protected.
- Avoid exercise, saunas, steam rooms, or heat exposure for 48 hours.
- Always apply SPF 30+ once your skin barrier has calmed (usually after 24 hours).
*Important:
Your skin will be more absorbent — avoid unverified products. We recommend a treatment course of 4, every 4–6 weeks for best results.
Advanced Facials
Immediately After:
- Skin may appear dewy, flushed, or radiant.
- Avoid heavy makeup for at least 6–12 hours.
- Refrain from touching or exfoliating your skin.
Next 48 Hours:
- Cleanse gently, avoiding harsh scrubs or active ingredients.
- Keep skin hydrated and apply SPF daily.
- Avoid steam, hot showers, or workouts that induce sweating.
Boost Your Results:
Stick to a simple, hydrating routine for 3 days post-treatment. Resume active skincare products only if advised by your practitioner.
Chemical Peel
First 24–72 Hours:
- Expect redness, slight shredding, and mild sensitivity.
- Do not pick, peel, or exfoliate the skin manually.
- Avoid sun exposure, heat, and sweating.
What to do:
- Apply post-peel balm or hydrators recommended during your treatment.
- Keep skin moisturised and wear broad-spectrum SPF daily.
- Sleep on a clean pillowcase and avoid touching your face.
Avoid:
Using retinol, exfoliants, or acids for 3–4 days.
Waxing, shaving, or other facial treatments for at least 7 days.
*Important:
Mild flaking is normal — this is your skin shedding and renewing. Be patient and gentle.
Body Sculpting
Immediately After:
- Mild redness, tenderness, or swelling in treated areas is normal.
- Stay hydrated — aim for 2+ litres of water daily.
Next 72 Hours:
- Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and heavy meals.
- Light exercise (like walking) can help flush toxins.
- Do not apply heat or cold directly to the area unless advised.
Boost Results:
Consistency is key — stick to the recommended treatment course and attend all scheduled sessions.
Lymphatic massage can enhance results. Pair with a balanced diet and active lifestyle for longer-lasting benefits.
Massage Therapy
Immediately After:
- Drink plenty of water to support toxin release.
- Allow your body time to rest and recalibrate.
Next 24–48 Hours:
- Avoid strenuous activity, caffeine, and alcohol.
- Stretch gently and stay hydrated.
Boost results:
Regular massages can improve circulation, tension, and recovery.
*Important
It is normal to feel some mild soreness after deep pressure or sculpting massages. A warm bath or light activity can ease discomfort.
